Finding Yourself: How to Trust the Process and Discover Your Purpose Through Everyday Moments

Yesterday was one of those days where everything just clicked. The house was clean, I made it to the gym, the plumber showed up on time, I got a new phone, signed a new client, and even had a good night’s sleep. It’s in those simple, steady wins that I realize — everything is aligning in my favor.

Of course, there are still moments when I’m fumbling my way through things (like trying to connect all my social media platforms — why is that so complicated?). It starts with the familiar “ugh, I don’t want to do this,” but then I remind myself of one of my favorite truths: Everything is Figureoutable. Thank you, Marie Forleo.

Because truly — why not me?

I can do and create anything I want and so can YOU. All it takes is time, energy, and persistence.

Finding Your Rhythm

Finding your rhythm is key to moving forward. I’m learning to divide my time between tasks that need to get done and those that move me closer to my goals.

Here’s the hard truth: staying stuck is a choice.
It’s easy to blame circumstances or other people for the pause in our progress, but often, it’s how we show up — or don’t — that makes all the difference.

So today, I’m saying yes.
Yes to asking for help.
Yes to the uplevel.
Yes to opportunities that stretch me.
And yes to saying no when it frees up more space for my next yes.

I’m walking away from fear, comparison, and perfectionism. I’m trusting that I’m being guided by something greater than myself — that the dreams on my heart are there for a reason.

Living With Intention

I believe I’m here to do more — to write a book, to be on the Today Show (let’s think BIG), to travel the world, and to live with ease, intention, and joy.

But here’s the thing: making change is simply a decision followed by consistent action. It’s not about giving up when things feel hard. It’s about staying clear on your desires, even when they don’t seem logical.

Finding yourself and finding your purpose isn’t about having a perfectly mapped-out plan — it’s about paying attention.

Try new things. Go somewhere new. Even if it’s as simple as visiting a different grocery store. Shake up your routine. Every experience — good, bad, or awkward — is a clue pointing you toward your purpose.

Perspective Is Everything

Every day, life gives us little nudges — people, ideas, and moments that cross our path for a reason. The question is: what lens are we using to see them?

Are you looking through a lens of possibility, curiosity, and gratitude?
Or a lens of frustration, resistance, and doom?

Finding your purpose is really about noticing what makes you feel alive and what drains you — and then having the courage to make room for more of what fuels you.

Wake up. Take notice. Take action.
Your life. Your way. Your choice.

Stay Present, Stay Open

Will it always be easy? No.
Will it be rewarding? Absolutely — if you can stop future-tripping and focus on the present.

Right now, in this moment, ask yourself: What’s available to me? What feels right?
Because staying present is where your power lives.

Anxiety, worry, and fear show up when we try to control what’s next instead of trusting ourselves in the now. We’re not meant to control every outcome — we’re meant to live, grow, and evolve through experience.

There’s a plan and purpose for each of us — big or small.
The best way to uncover it is to live authentically, trust yourself, and let others do the same.

Less control.
More living.
That’s where you’ll find yourself — and your purpose.
